Messrs. Keise thus once more make the definite statement that they will not continue the agenoy with my Company after the 30th June, and yet they offer the Texas Company to accept it without us, although our agreement clearly debars them, as you are aware, from attempting or consenting to acquire this agency without our consent in writing. Their assertion that they "will compensate us for loss of agency" does not of course alter this in fact it only accentuates this flagrant breach and shows that they are well aware of their wrongdoing. It does, indeed, remind one, particularly in view of Messrs. Reles's other "war-lord" tactics, of the German Chancellor's unforgettable statement, to the ef- feat that he had to hack his way through Belgium but yąs quite willing to compensate his victims thereafter

We have no reason cancel long standing contract with Sanders unless they cannot handle busines9.
If this resulta from action of Reiss, in terminating their ar- rangement with Sanders, we may have to terminate contract with San- ders and appoint other agents, or preferably handle business ourselves.
We would not feel at liberty discuss agency matter with Reiss, excluding Sanders, without Sanders' approval.
Advise your recommendations regarding handling business direct, organization required, estimated expense.
